Children
As a registered childminder the number of children I'm allowed to care for is determined
by Care
Standards
Inspectorate for Wales (CSIW) regulations and subject to their annual inspection.
I
am
currently permitted to care for children of the age groups indicated below.
Days and Times
I treat each family' needs individually and try to be as flexible as possible.
In most cases I find there are few, if any, problems as the majority of parents
work regular hours.
Location
I am able to offer child care services to families in and around the
Porth area. However, being situated off North Road, the main Valleys
to Pontypridd
route, I'm able to offer child care services to parents traveling
to
and from
work
via
that
route.
Travel
Taking or collecting children from school, after school activities etc.,
within a reasonable distance, is not usually a problem. I have fully comprehensive
business
class vehicle insurance and require parents written permission.
Eligibility
Many families don't
realise they may be entitled to tax breaks and benefits to cover most of the
cost of child
care, up to 70% in some cases. Ask at your local job centre or social
security office for details. |
